All I know is that I spent the last 12 hours watching CNN & MSNBC keeping up with the race, and I'm still excited as hell! Being a part of this was truly a great experience (no homo). I've been following the campaign for the last 4 or 5 months now, and I honestly feel a great relief that it's over! I'm pumped to see what the future holds, and with that I leave you with a song! So i've been experimenting with 35MM lately, mostly black & white, and slide film. I've been told I should go out and get a Holga, and try the medium format. I saw a few pictures that the Holga produces yesterday from a friends roll, and that camera is probably just what I need. Right now I'm shooting on an old school Canon FTB, which is giving me some good shit. I need to buy a couple extra things for it, for some night time shooting. So this past Sunday I had the opportunity to be up on stage in front of close to a thousand people to perform with Dyme Def. I didn't know what the hell to expect, i've never stood in front of a crowd that big in my entire life! I was hoping I didn't get too nervous and pass the fuck out on stage in front of all those people, that shit would've been wack! lol. Anyway, I got rid of that nervousness real quick, and the guys killed that shit, as usual. Here is a little video. Sorry for the audio spike, the stoned sound man didn't let us know about the peaking sound until the last song. Thanks to wifey for the video footage.

LRM Car Show - Portland

I think the last time I was at a car show in Portland was about 7 years ago. I almost forgot how tedious these events are, and how much work it takes just to reach Portland. Let me just say, we left Saturday morning around 10, and didn't arrive in the city until 4 o'clock! Longest 150 mile trip OF MY LIFE, and I was only working off a 3 banger which didn't help much either. The night made up for it, Gentlemen's club (girls weren't all that great), but I still had fun. After the strip club, we hit up the white women's club. It was the Dixie bar in downtown, which is Portland's version of Cowgirls Inc. It was my first time experiencing Portland's nightlife, and DAMN, they get it pretty fuckin crackin out there.

Car show day, some ill ass rides, and some buckets. All of the flicks I took were from what I thought were some of the best, if not thee best cars in the show. Portland, i'll be back for your nightlife soon.

Week late Mid-Summers BBQ Pics

So last Thursday we had a BBQ with high hopes of good weather, and the forecast called for it. Sure enough, Seattle never fails to disappoint. We got there with overcast, and within an hour of us setting up for the bbq, it starts pouring. We figured we'd just make the best of the day and put both of the grills under the car port. With tons of meat and 25 40's, there is no way this could go wrong, and it didn't! Thanks to Richard and Max for letting us all come over and kick it hard! We finished the day with only 2 40's left!

First off, we're going to give Benny his props on his 2nd birthday! That kid will be the exception to the term "terrible two's" just because he seems to never really be in a bad mood. Thanks to Steve & family for providing everyone with an amazing amount of Ezell's chicken. The crew was definitely in full effect yesterday, I even saw a couple people I hadn't seen in some time. Good day for a celebration. I'm chillin in the mountains somewhere in San Bernadino California right now, in some crazy ass cabin. I know man! Shit. I get lazy a lot, so I tend not to update this piece too much. Anyway, I have some more flicks from the past few days. Few guests flew up from LA, did some of this, and some of that. Backyard bbq's are the shiiiiiet! Monday's are no longer just boring Monday's, they're Backyard BBQ Monday's.
